Thank you for being a part of What The Festival this year! We are really looking forward to sharing a great event experience with you & you are all a big part of making this event run as smoothly as possible. Please see below for some helpful links and information regarding your participation with the festival.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions!
Your volunteer schedules have been posted. Log in to your FestiVOL account & click on “My Events” to view your shift hours. The exact department or job will not be listed here because it is subject to change depending on the festival’s needs. I’ll let you know where you’re headed when you check in for your shift!
You should all have received your e-ticket via email at this point. Please print the ticket or have it available on your phone when you arrive at the box office.
*Please bring a valid photo ID
Parking is not included with your weekend pass. Unless you have purchased a Car Camping upgrade, you will need to buy a $30 GA Parking Pass (either online or when your arrive).
If you carpool with 3+ people, you will be reimbursed the $30!

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR SHIFTS:
- Closed-toed shoes are REQUIRED while working
- Your volunteer t-shirt
- Jacket (it gets chilly at night)
- Any necessary medications
- Refillable Water Bottle (water is FREE!!)
- Snacks (meals will not be provided on shift, but pre-post shifts will be given a lunch break)
CHECKING IN / OUT OF SHIFTS
You will check in & out of every volunteer shift at Volunteer HQ. This is the only way you will get credit for the hours you are putting in. From there, you will either be picked up or we will take you in a golf cart where you need to be.
*Note that Volunteer HQ has moved since last year. We are no longer part of the FYI Store, but are now sharing a 10 x 20 tent with Media. It is just slightly behind the FYI Tent, same area as the splash pool.
A single shower voucher will be provided to those of you working Mon-Wed (pre-fest), as well as those working Mon-Wed (post-fest). During the event, Oasis showers are available for purchase.
Again, meals are NOT provided. Please come prepared! There will be food vendors on-site from Wed-Mon. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitiate to get in touch – firstname.lastname@example.org
